I rarely agree with you but you are spot on here. Refresh has ruined festivals, the ability to straighten hair has forever changed the demographic of T.....

It is the reason pish pop acts are signed without GE being led outside and shot with a ball of his own shit....

Well i'm going to a festival? i've known girls that have been able to look great at a festival without a shower etc so the sex argument can't be used.

I think it takes away the authenticity... but really if suckers are willing to pay that's more money for T to spend on acts so.

I just feel this has all come from the idolisation of coachella. That girls/guys have to look picture perfect all weekend.

The only argument from me is:

- there is less money spent on bands since refresh started, I know you think the line up is good this year.....have a look at 2011 and tell me they have spent more this year than that year. That was a proper line up, with more than 3 stages which is frankly a disgrace. How many stages at Glastonbury this year, how many acts do they have compared to T, for the same money?

-the type of people who "want to look picture perfect all weekend" are the people who want to see pop mainstream pish and button pressers

True story science facts right there. Reading and Leeds have more stages and acts too for the same money. Fact is, in 2012 Ellis and DF decided to take the T going public for a ride. They are exploiting what used to be a music festival and running it into the ground. It's disgusting. This year it's not even the best Scottish festival in my book, Bella has a better line up for less than half the price. Ironically, they do have some kind of posh bog there too though.
