A303 resurfacing - Update

I read earlier this month that the A303 was being resurface over nights. The link to the Highway Agency is dated 29th May so I was wondering if there is an update available.

I find it hard to believe they would plan it at Glastonbury time but anything is possible. Planning on driving down through the night tomorrow and planning my route today. Any info would be much appreciated

Thank you. Not long now

A36 was closed yesterday due to the road melting around a man hole cover - and traffic was at a snails pace on the heat haze of the a303 early monring - so if they were resurfacing i don't know how it would harden!

We were down there for a wedding on Friday/Saturday and came back along the A303 on Saturday morning. The journey took 2 1/2 hours from Long Sutton to Caterham, Surrey and the only delays we encountered were around Stonehenge and then getting onto the M25. Friday morning it was slightly longer going, around 3 hours, but that was at 9.30am so not too bad.

Yes there are roadworks but they are fairly easy to navigate through. You'll be fine.
