Mini-Bus hire London

Hi folks,

Me and my gang are thinking of hiring a self-drive minibus/people carrier to get to Glasto this year. Has anyone done this before and can recommend a decent company to hire from that's not too pricey? To be honest I don't know what the going rate is for this, had a google today and found anything from £300 up to over a grand! We'll have about 7 or 8 of us.

cant help about where to hire but just some general stuff.

we have hired minibuses from Glasgow for the last few years, 4 buses this year.

driver has to be over 25 with clean licence

we hire it for the week (we come down on the monday)

we pay £500 per van

Most minibuses are restricted to 62 mph

we normally get 15 seaters with roof rack, if your bus is full there aint a lot of room for tents etc. So if there are 8 of you get at least a 12 seater

with fuel it works out about £60 each from Glasgow.
