That tweet was a total PR disaster. Whoever sent it shouldn't be allowed near their social network accounts ever again. If I had missed out on tickets (like this time last year) I would have raged.

When tickets go on sale for big Arsenal matches, you get put in queue and there is a moving bar which shows where you are in the queue and then when you get an avaliable slot it drops you into the ticket booking page, from then on you know you will get your tickets.

This is run by Ticketmaster.

I know a lot more people will be trying for Glastonbury tickets than one of our home games to Man U or Chelsea, but it shows that a system like that can work. Personally I think it's better to reward the people trying from 9am rather than others who rolled out of bed at gone 10 and got a ticket straight away with pot luck!
