Buying Tickets for a Group

Okay, I've done lots of festivals but this is going to be my first ever glastonbury, I'm going in a group of around 10 with only 1 person having been before.

Our plan for getting tickets is all 10 of us attempting to get through on sunday and whoever gets in first buys 6 then whoever gets in 2nd buys the rest, my question is will their systems be good enough to stop us accidentally buying 2 tickets for 1 registered account?

That would work in theory but I think you would need to make sure you had phone contact to say who you had already bought tickets for. The system will not allow "buying 2 tickets for 1 registered account" so if one already successful registration number was repeated it may (and I stress may because, frankly, I don't know for certain) kick out all of the registration numbers entered onto the final page.

the 2 tickets problem is solved instantly, as soon as the reg number has been used then it can't be used again, it appears with a message "this registration number has already been used" or something like that, so don't worry.

We all have each others reg numbers and we will all be plugging away until we get tickets or they sell out (whichever is first).

From previous years I can confirm that once a registration number has been processed on a successful order it will flag up as "used" if it is re-entered on another screen.

This was my problem. I was buying for 6 people and when I clicked to purchase tickets it said that one of the people had already paid. They called me and said they got a ticket. But it was too late we couldn't get ours. I tried going back to delete that person but it wouldn't allow me to, in the end it timed out.

I got back to filling in the registration details again but no payment page.
