Ferry Times

Hi there,

This is my first time at bestival so need some advice. My friends driving us down on the Thursday but has only just realised she has work on that day until 4, so I was wondering how risky is it to book the ferry for 9 from Southampton to east cowes? Would we be too late to get allowed into the campsite?

Is there a time limit on when you are allowed to arrive?

I think it says on the site somewhere they close the camp at 12 then open in the morning

No idea what the traffic on the island is like at that time of night, but I suspect there's a lot less than in the morning/early afternoon. Ferry takes about 30 minutes, I reckon you'll easily be parked up and on your way down to the campsite by 10:30pm at the latest.
