Do they get published ahead of the festival at all?

No. Only way you'll find out is to buy a lanyard normally.

Or check twitter! Some very kind people took pictures of the lanyards and uploaded them for all to see. Personally, I just buy the lanyard as a souvenir - got a draw full of them now

Note: They seem to go up by £1 each year.2010 they were £6, 2011 they were £7, and last year they were £8 so chances are this year they will be £9 or even a round £10! I can't see the justification in the price increase though they are poorly constructed and come apart after a few flip throughs.
