RIP Camping 2014

After attending every single Download so far, we are now considering taking our increasingly sore and faltering bodies over to R.I.P. camping

Does anyone know when these tickets usually sell out? Obviously we want everyone to be able to get their ticket before we can all commit to buying them.

They usually sell out incredibly quickly (before xmas) but I believe they lasted a bit longer this year. TBH, I wouldnt bother again after staying in there 3 times. Go down to shardlow marina, you get electric hookup as well as more facilities than RIP, theres a pub, and its a nice little retreat away from the madness. RIP is vastly overpriced - especially as the vip bar area is horrific when its wet.

You can buy an arena only ticket (or if you REALLY want to use the village onsite - buy a weekend camping) and pay the extra (works out about £15 each if there are 4 or 5 of you) to stay there.

only downside is the bus journey to and from the festival, but tbh - we put up with that for the better camping experience offsite. loads of efesters have used it.
