Has anyone heard anything or seen any line up info for this years Tim Peakes ? I know after last years performances there was a lot of talk about who would appear with names like Tim Booth being mentioned but things seem very quiet

Not long now !

Hatcham Social are back at Kendal this year, playing the Houseparty(I think). They played both Calling Out and the Diner last year and performed there at The Isle Of Wight Festival last week, they've also been Tim's backing band for his solo stuff. They're a very under-rated indie-pop band and definitely worth catching over the weekend.

I'll back that up Lippy. I though Hatcham were ace in the Calling Out and in Tim Peaks last year. Think they played on the Sunday before one of the most bizarre sets I've seen, Mini Pops, an old Factory band from Holland (?) doing an acoustic 'family friendly' set, with the singer, looking like an old university lecturer, and dancing like an old university lecturer trying to dance like Ian Curtis, in a room full of coffee drinkers and children

    • It was Brooklyn last year, and I seem to remember a Guinness tent
    • That leaker off Instagram was saying earlier this year that Nickelback are doing a tour with Broco and Wargasm, but no evidence as yet
    • Gojira are unoficially confirmed by the organisation at Hellfest since last December already.   Slayer was supposed to be this year as a Mainstage 2 headliner at the place of Volbeat for a thrash day but negotiations fell off. Very likely to be there next year.    MCR I didn't know about but it fits well with Hellfest's desire to keep one day as more punk/rock orientated.    Europe are a confirmed headliner for Sweden Rock 2027. They will not headline HF but we may seem them on the bill. I am very curious who will be the legacy bands next year at HF. There was some backlash after 2025 and a bit of a return to heavier metal on the bill in 2026 - e.g. Gatekeeper on the main stage. The only considerable legacy acts I see coming (if they are in Europe) and haven't been at HF for a while are Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Slash, FFDP (if you count them as legacy), ZZ Top, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. I really hope they manage to pull sth big for the 20th anniversary like AC/DC.
    • Looking forward to Doja Cat letting us all know what is going on later on today. It is a good job that somebody is keeping us informed.
