It did indeed remind me of messy sunny days at Glastonbury. I probably would listen to such a song at Glastonbury somewhere, but would have had to render myself totally incapable of movement to do so. That said, I wish you and the band well.

I once saw a band called bison about 9 years ago at Manchester roadhouse. There were loads of them in boiler suits , think I bought an album. All the other bands were teen metal bands on the night

Bison ended up being Lee Scratch Perry's backing band at Endorse It on year, they were very excited about it.

Yoghurt - Fair enough! Can't argue with that, really. I'm sure you wouldn't be the first person to have sat through one of our gigs due to being too messed up to get away.

Formed a band - That was us. One of many bills we didn't really fit into all that well.

5co77ie - Not the whole band, unfortunately, just a couple of our brass players, alongside members of a few other bands who were on the bill that day. The Upsetter had upset his touring band on the motorway and they had abandoned him. He had to put a new band together for the gig with about half an hour's notice. The upshot of this was a 30-minute version of 'Funky Kingston' with Lee Perry jigging around a bit and mumbling, and our trombonist, Matt, going mental. I think it made his summer.
