Campervan with Tent/Awning

I've been to loads of festivals over the past 15 years. Glastonbury, Cornbury, Run to the Sun, Truck, Lechlade etc in my VW campervan.

At none of these has it ever been a problem to put up an 'awning' which is basically a tent that attaches to the camper.

Reading the fine print on the Wychwood site it appears this may be an issue. Can anyone with a campervan confirm if this is the case?

there's been plenty of campervans with awnings attached in previous years, so I can't see that it'll be a problem this year.

I've just checked the Wychwood website for myself, and it specifically says:

You are welcome to attach an awning to your live in vehicle.

So it's definitely not a problem.
