Can't remember as it was 2009 haha but from what i read they were close to sorting one. And yeah Oasis pulled out Sunday morning, they already played the Saturday at Weston so it would just be for Hylands. With it being on TV etc they probably tried a bit harder than what they would have if it was at Weston.

Ive seen highlights from Leeds but that was on local news when they talk about it, not national

Most places are probably mainly based in London so it makes sense for them to only televise more southern fests, less for them to travel

See you say that but the BBC just moved 75% of their operations to Manchester, and yet they're still focusing on Reading over Leeds this summer..

If anyone has a Virgin box with a Music on Demand subscription there's a few V sets on there. Albeit from no more recently than 2010..

I think headliners are shown (if shown) about an hour or so after they come off stage on Channel 4 normally (which i don't think was part of the t4 coverage as it was about midnight or sometime around then)

Why would the BBC presenters go from London to staffs/Leeds when the twin sites are on their doorstep?

The coverage has gone from bad to worse since it moved from Channel 4 to 4music.

They also say they go "live" on the day at times but i'm not 100% they are shown as live... swearing etc needs to be cut out

Might be a small delay, even a few minutes might be enough for them just to turn the sound off for a second or play another noise over it, or really risk it and go real live
