If its poping error boxes in my face then its a bug and needs sorting...

Its ok though as I use Chrome and it doesn't happen on that...

the bug is IE, and that needs sorting. As the other browsers get to prove.

It's taken microsoft nearly 20 years, but now they almost have a grip on the idea that internet standards are not something they should be making up inside MS on the fly. Give them another 20 years, and they might manage to be as good as everyone else.

Desktop - Windows 7 and Chrome v27

Hmmm, weird. I've just checked it on my win7 machine with google chrome "Version 27.0.1453.110 m" and the menus are positioned perfectly.

They're a dogs dinner in whatever version of Chrome I have on my Nexus7 tho. If I correct that one, it screws up the positioning on my win7 chrome.

One day I might, but the menus as they are are constructed with a menu building tool, and while that has a css menus option it doesn't allow different sizing for the main menu options.

While custom-building a menu isn't a huge thing in itself, there's always plenty of other things that also need doing and which rate as more important tasks.

I've changed the menu set-up slightly, which has hopefully made the menu alignment issue go away for all browsers on all platforms*.

(* that statement is only as consistent as each browser is across different platforms)

normally when people ask this question its because they're using the page url and not the 'share' link that is available to get from the youtube page.

Neil - occasionally finding on some of the forum pages that there's a load of empty white space at the bottom, i.e. I can scroll down well below the page content - and I mean a long way down. Using Chrome.
