Worthy View Tent Swap

Here is the proposal. I've just managed to book a 4 man bell tent in Worthy View. There are only 2 of us and £500 is quite steep. Is there anybody who would like to swap their classic scout tent, 2 man yurt or 2 man cloud tent with me. Surely if we both approach see tickets with this proposal they'll swap the type of tent booked for us? If they can't or won't do this, is there anything to stop our 2 groups swapping between ourselves once in Worthy View. The extra 2 people would just have to enter with me and my GF, wouldn't they?

Needless to say I'd hope to be reimbursed for the cost difference by the party taking the larger tent!

I doubt they would let you swap but there's nothing to stop you from coming to some arrangement with someone who also wants to swap when you get there.

Sorted, just got a Scout tent on the booking page. Got the confirmation email and rang see to cancel the bell tent, just have to wait for a call back on monday to get the money refunded. There's one scout tent still available if anybody is interested. Keep an eye out over the next few days cos the bell tent I cancelled will be avalable.

I’m fairly new to this so any suggestions/advice would be welcome.

There are 5 of us going to Glasto this year and we decided to book in to Worthy View. So, rather naively, we booked a 4-man dome tent, thinking we could squeeze all 5 of us in; on the initial information page for Worthy View there was nothing that expressly stated that you could not do this. However, the email that I recently received states that you can’t do this, and so now that all the tents have sold out and refunds are not available, we’re in a tricky situation.

So, if anyone camping in Worthy View this year is in a situation where they have a spare wristband going (i.e. not using all the legitimate space in their tent), we would be more than willing to pay a fee for it. Don't worry, we're not asking to actually stay in your tent!

Your best bet is to convince someone to put one of your friends names forward on their booking, once they arrice they can squeeze in with the rest of you, good luck!

I know ... but according to a friend the dome tent has a bit in the middle that can comfortably fit one person. Thanks for the advice.
