Getting a ticket

Yes in a nut shell. You are trusting someone with your card details, so there is always a risk with that but people do it.

For G2010 and 2011 I had a backdoor way of getting on to Seetickets server and managed to secure over 50 tickets for friends for 2011 that I know well enough to trust me to book them for them even after the original sale.

Unfortunately the changes See have done to the ticket booking system has closed this loophole, but I will still be trying tomorrow the old fashioned way for a few friends who missed out this year.

But please be careful if you are planning on handing over card details, as unfortunately there may be people who take advantage of your desperation.

I have some friends trying for me think there will be 4 of us trying using laptops, ipads and phones!

What happens if we get through at the same time and we both put the same registrations numbers. I know you can only use the registration once but i'm worried I'll end up with 4 tickets instead of 2 or I block the registration number or something.

Obviously we will keep in touch but i'm trying to think of every possible scenario!! what if my phone breaks and I cant contact my friend to tell them we have them haha i'm a nervous wreck here!

I'm probably way over thinking things but I've never tried for glasto tickets before and I always get stressed buying tickets!

I also did the host change and have it still on my mac, but I am thinking I should delete it off before tomorrow morning since it seems the backdoor has closed. Can anyone VERIFY the host change with the IP does not still work?

Help!! I've gotta get tickets tomorrow Im not techie at all. Do I go to the glasto site first or see tickets or via this forum? will I know when to hit the F5 button and do I just keep hitting it? Should I have everything written down ready to go? Yikes this is harder than winning the Lotto!! Can I get tickets and then pay from my friends card??? :startle: :music: :music:
