Interesting that Kiss have announced a world tour next year. The 7 & 9 June are missing, potential dates for Rock AM/IM those missing dates are interesting.

Eminem announced for Reading and Leeds, wonder if there's any chance of him being at Rock am Ring? Would be cool if he did what Jay-Z did in 2010 when he subbed RATM. I hope we get another announcement before Christmas!

Really? That's great news. ACDC are rumoured to be announcing soon for Sonisphere. Would be amazing if they were at the ring.

With RnR only 6 months ago, I was hoping someone who has been before can shed some light on a few questions that I have.

1. I read somewhere that the camps sometimes open up on the Tuesday, is there any truth to that, as we are heading to the site Wednesday morning - but we could change our plans.

2. We plan to arrive Wednesday morning, I am heading to Koblenz from Frankfurt then we're getting shuttle bus to the site - which camp sites do you recommend? i'm not too fussed where we go, but somewhere reasonably close to the main arena, somewhere similar to blue camp at Download would be preferred, I've tried to make heads and tails of the map for RnR but it's all in German.

3. Is there somewhere I can charge my mobile phone? Is there a similar scheme like all major UK fests do where you have a small box to store valuables and charge your phone?

4. How much would we be looking at in buying a crate of beer at the campsite? i'm guessing busy, but surely not £35 for a crate of Carlsberg like it was at Leeds fest in 2011.

5. Re-supplies - Where do you recommend stocking up on booze, food from? how do we get there and how expensive is it? bare in mind we're not driving.

6. DAB Radio, I was thinking of taking a DAB radio, does anyone know if they actually work in Germany and if so,m can you recommend any decent stations?

7. Does anyone know the latest train from Koblenz to Frankfurt? we plan to head back to Frankfurt Sunday night.

8. Whats the weather like? i'm pissed off at wet and cold festivals, its about time we have a warm one!

9. Beers/Tetrapaks - what is the crack with these? can we buy canned beer in Koblenz? if not and we have to buy Tetrapaks, whats the deal with taking the lids off? i'm guessing we can't take glass bottles into the campsite?

Take that map plus use google map then, if you come in by bus though you bascially go where it dumps you!

ever watched motorsport there? You can easily have 25 degree sun and a 5 degree monsoon in the same afternoon, putting up a tent in a hail storm is err charactor building though!

You can take glass bottles on the capsite, you wont find much beer in can, either glass bottles or err plastic ones from Penny Mark:-(

Yeah it sold out sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning! A friend of a friend tried getting a ticket but it was too late, savage. There's three of us going from England, I'm so excited!

Me and 2 friends booked our coach package with Argon Events a few weeks ago.

Can't believe it's already sold out!

I wonder if Argon still has tickets or they buy per order!

Out of interest, how is your coach journey going to take? It's gonna take us about 10 hours to drive there with a 2 hour ferry trip on top of that! So worth it though.

Unfortunately I can't drive so im doing the shuttle route. Got a late flight back to Manchester on Monday, resting on Tuesday then heading off to Download early hours on the Wednesday so im gonna be a mess! Glad I got my tickets in June, although January is a tad bit early to sell out am I correct?
