Absolutely devastated.

Argon Events have had to cancel the coach packages because only ELEVEN people booked.

Our group was 3 of them o.O

Any idea how we can get there?

I know about cologne - koblenz - shuttle bus but yeah, any other ideas?

We're staying in Frankfurt, then getting a train to Koblenz. Getting my train ticket first week of March, book in advance and its a lot cheaper. Unless the raise the prices just because its a festival. After that its a shuttle bus to the site. Simples

Pretty good announcement!

I was sure Biffy Clyro would be there, one more band for hardcore fans : The Ghost Inside. Well that's great so far. According to the last post there will be more details to be announced soon about the festival timetable and stuff.

65 bands announced still some to go until the final line-up (85 bands), any rumours or band you'd like to see?

I would love Avenged Sevenfold, Crossfaith, Of Mice&Men, Enter Shikari..

Not bad, good to finally see a poster on the official site although it was a bit of a disappointment to see 30STM headlining... The Saturday is looking insane, Volbeat, The Killers and The Prodigy all on the top line.

I'd like Deftones to play, Jimmy Eat World would be cool although they're playing Hurricane, don't know if that rules them out... Against Me!, The Black Keys, Weezer would all be good but I think I'm asking too much there.

New announcent is brilliant.

Made up to see Limp Bizkit for a 4th time and super excited to see The Ghost Inside again.

Just need to get my tickets re-bought and sort out this hassle of travel.

Cologne or Frankfurt guys?

Cheers guys.

Considering we'll be taking a tonne of stuff, we've decided to get a coach from London to Cologne and then head straight for Koblenz and the shuttle bus. Works out slightly cheaper than the package we originally bought that got cancelled.

Afterwards, probably stay in cologne for a night or two to wear off the good ol' festival hangover!

Tickets just bought :)

I'm gonna book my ferry journey at some point this week, thinking of getting it late on Tuesday for when my friends finish work so we can turn up early on Wednesday morning. Two days of drinking with the Germans before bands start, ideal! Can't wait to get involved in some flunky ball.

Was never a massive fan of NIN but they show they did at Soni was terrible, even NIN fans agreed!!

PS. RaR website has updated information about the festival now if anyone wants to read.

There is a page on the info section that describes what each logo means in English.

The English option at the top isn't the best like but if you have Chrome it translates 90% well.

It's readable like but still a bit iffy :')

My coach drops me off at D10 which seems a good walk to the close campsites, gonna have to grin and bare it I think.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
