Best Camping Chair

The only problem I can see with that is that there doesn't appear to be much of a seat on it ie it's quite narrow from the front to the rear part (and you couldn't sit on the rear part anyway because of the configuration of the back rest frame uprights). Might get quite uncomfortable if sat on for any length of time.

On the plus side, I don't think it would be too difficult to carry around lashed to a bag on your back.

Going to have another trawl of the net for chairs after I've come back from the off license. These things need to be hunted down while drinking a fine red in my books.

This one fits the price criteria and the legs on it look sturdier than most of the fold up ones. However it doesn't give a weight tolerance. It's also a low chair. OK if you are overlooking acts from a bit of a height but not very good in a crowd situation - but then no chair would be good in those conditions.

You mentioned a crate earlier. Have you totally ruled out using one again? Guess it's the bulk with those things - awkward to carry around.

This one is marginally over the cost figure, but not sure it has a bigger seat than the one you identified for a tenner on e.bay. What it does have is a fab looking specification - especially it's load bearing capacity which is about 124kg.
