Yeh i agree, only Stone Roses are headliners there. Still excited tho, the line-up will be fine when its all announced.

However the only bands im bothered about here are:

Stone roses, Horrors, Vaccines, and Friendly Fires. Need some decent house music too

Magnetic Man are one of the better dubstep artists. Otherwise TDCC and The Vaccines are a good announcement. Need another headliner soon though.

Weak but wouldn't get too worried. No headliners announced yet except Stone Roses and probably Placebo for the first day. How soon do you reckon the next announcement will be?

This time last year not one single act had been announced, so you won't hear me complaining! Also there will be lots more to come! In the end you'll see, there will again be an eclectic line-up with someone for everyone.

Blur in London at the same time as Sziget. I slightly died inside when I found this out. Blur > every other act on the planet.

There are still 3 main stage headliners to be announced. I assume Korn and Ministry will be on the metal stage. The others announced will be a mix of main stage/A38 and party arena.

Was hoping for a few more big names from the announcement but as others have said still plenty of time. And they are always later with their line up than other festivals.

I reckon there will be another big name for Day Zero or at least if I was running the festival I would arrange one. The extra revenue from having a huge name on day zero would be worth it. It was rammed on day zero for Prince last year and I bloody missed it as flew in on the Tuesday evening not expecting anything big happening on day zero!!

They attempted to book them last year but couldn't due to conflicting events. I just think if its the biggest and best line up this year, theyll be eager to book the Foo's especially since they won so much at the Grammy's this year.. you heard it here first ...

Blur are headlining a Swedish festival (between 9th and 11th of August) and at the end of the Olympic games on the 12th of August - they could head over to Hungary afterwards? Reckon they'll be a good headline act for Sziget?

They're playing a Danish festival (Smukfest) as well that weekend.

Personally, I'd love to see them headline (saw them headline Glastonbury a couple of years ago) but I wasn't sure how popular they are in Europe. If they do play, hope it's not on day zero as I'll probably miss it!

I am booking my ticket from the the UK via the official Hungarian sziget website. Firstly, even when i go to book from official vendors for the UK it asks for the payments in Euro when our currency is sterling. How should I go about booking tickets? Will it just convert euro's into Pound?

I haven't booked yet but still very likely to be going. Just a bit worried that the likes of Snore Patrol etc are going to be announced after being announced at T.

Really gutted I didn't go last year. That line up will be very hard to top.
