I think people in most countries tell jokes at the expense of others. The English poke fun at the Scots for being mean. In Wales the same tightfisted jokes are told at the expense of the Cardis (people coming from Cardiganshire in West Wales).

The English tell jokes at the expense of 'thick' Irishmen. The Dutch tell the same jokes at the expense of the Belgians and the Belgians tell the same jokes at the expense of The Dutch.

Can't be arsed to read through the entire thread, but yes, the OP is so right. We love a moan don't we. Myself, i had a top, top time. Yes, not the best year but fooking great all the same. Can't wait for 2013. Bring it on. :D

I agree with many of the posts here - we do tend to moan and don't complain enough. People in service jobs aren't even used to being complained to - I've seen expressions of shock when I've sent back bad food or complained about the service. Unfortunately, Glastonbury Festivals Ltd doesn't support any easy way of complaining, they don't even conduct a post-event survey; all we can do is express our discontent on forums like this and, of course, stop going.

That said, I disagree with the OP on the scale of moaning here, 80%, cock! I find myself a lone voice of reason on most threads and the number of happy-clappy, "I loved U2" threads far outnumber the negative.

you really are a miserable dickhead aren't you. have you got anything better to do than just come on every thread to complain about the festival and tell everyone else how they shouldn't be enjoying this event? seriously, lighten up a bit. nobody particularly values your opinion
