European Festivals

[The Roses]

Because Glastonbury isn't on next year I was thinking of going to one of the European ones, at the moment mainly considering Roskilde! Anyone been to any of these before and can give me advice on whether or not to go

We're doing Benicassim.

But we've done Rock Werchter before and that was excellent.

We went there in 2006 , when Eavis took the summer off

Excellent festival and really easy to get to.

I have been to Benicassim - if you do not like the heat keep away it is so hot. Bands do not come

on until 5.00 pm ish and finish around 3.00 am due to the heat.

i have been to roskilde before and it's lush. Great lineup, lots of fun with the Danes, and it's close enough to Copenhagen if you want to see something else as well. The last night i spent there was mental as lots of tents and other things got burned down, but other than that a very chilled festival that i can highly recommend.
