saints15
I would have liked it if Arcade Fire got 2 hours rather than 1 hour and a half personally

Banana Co
Can't wait! It's quite nice that it will end earlier than some shows, Vaccines only having 30mins and Beruit having 1h is a big leap in set times for 2 bands in a row, if you can understand me. jsmith01
I'd be grateful if anyone knows whether I would have enough time to get a half 11 train home from Paddington after the gig? please.

jsmith01
That will give you about a hour to get there which more than enough time, don't know the specific route but try here and it'll tell you the best route and times.

Banana Co
To be fair The Vaccines have one album which isnt much longer than 30 minutes as a lot of the songs are short whereas I think Beirut have two with another coming out soon
Banana Co
Setlist I'm hoping for; Ready To Start Keep The Car Running Tunnels Laika Modern Man No Cars Go Culture War (New Song) The Suburbs Sprawl 2 Windowstill Neon Bible Suburban War Speaking In Tongues (New Song) Crown Of Love Rococo Intervention Power Out Rebellion (Lies) ---ENCORE--- Haiti We Used To Wait Wake Up
Banana Co
That's probably too long. They might bring David Byrne on for Speaking In Tongues as he features, and they could keep him on for their version of This Must Be The Place. Maybe Cyndi Lauper for Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and Bowie for Wake Up! I can dream! Edited June 30, 2011 by Banana Co

jump
It was a surprising rowdy crowd, some ginger dude tried to start a fight with me and when being civil didn't work I told him f**k off which made him quit and during Arcade Fire in the middle of the crowd a pair a drunkards got into fight which was quickly stopped. jump
Yep, I found that too - too many dicks on the dancefloor, to quote Flight of the Conchords. They were also really noisy, talking and shouting throughout, which, when coupled with the too-quiet sound coming from the speakers became incredibly annoying. I'm not sure if it was because of all that but there was something lacking overall for me.
Banana Co
There was a couple in front of me for almost the whole time, and when the girl went to get some beers another girl came up to the guy and asked for a ciggarette. He gave her one very kindly and she went to kiss him (It was as if it was all a chat up thing), as she leant forward the guy sort of moved back and some random man went "He's with someone, stop trying to chat him up!"
