Elbow

Keep on deluding yourself that just because I critisised them, I therefore must have bad music taste. Try looking in the mirror instead.

I digress, not even worth my time arguing with people. The unsold tickets pretty much speak for themselves.

Yeah, I have to say Elbow were underwhelming for me. Definitely wont see them at Reading.

However, its surely not their fault for poor sales... I'd blame My chemical the Romance/ Beady Eye duo.

Also, the fact that 3 out of 4 headliners are everywhere and not even headlining at other places Reading's size.

The Strokes and Pulp are both headliner size, and good headliners, but why go to Reading when you can see them as the sub everywhere else?

This is hilarious because I was just going to make a thread about how shit they are.

f**k me. How bland? "Throw those crutains wideee, throw those curtains wiide, throw those curtains wide".

Is that their only song? lol. f**k me they're shit.

The front man looks like he's just got back from the pub.

i didnt think muc of them at first, then i listened to them a lot, maybe give their 2 latest albums 10 listens each gradually leading up to the fest, see if they grow on you, they did me!.

Guy is a great frontman, all the banter and crowd interaction was tops.

Saw Elbow at Glastonbury and were probably just edged out to 2nd best band of the weekend for me by QOTSA.

Will prob see them again at Leeds, although I'm absolutley gutted that they clash with DFA1979.

Can we get DFA switched with Panic at The Disco? PLeeeease ! Mind you they'd clash with Interpol then.

:(

    • Out of interest (I could look but being lazy), do Mad Cool repeat that quickly? They only played last year
    • This basically!, it's about as clear as day they'll be there.
    • Yeah there is no down time, I'm still tired and over thinking from last weeks work. A big reality check this week. If you just do it for the money you always will.
