Anyone else not going to Glasto..?

The first festival I've missed since '03! But I had a good reason, a 2 month old baby (my first).

I optimistically bought tickets whilst my wife was pregnant, but it just wasn't meant to be!

Kinda same reason we didn't bother, got a son aged 3 months so all abit hectic at the mo..

That said, not bin back since 2007 so long overdue..

Don't watch the webcams, you know what it looks like and you know its not gonna help

Flip - it was not one of the best - crap weather on Wednesday and Friday pm + 30000 too many tickets sold to make it comfortable to get around. Lots of people with prams were struggling with mud!

Not going this year wasn't anywhere near as bad as I expected TBH despite being the first I've missed since the fence went up. Mind you, knowing that it was a tad wet 'n' muddy probably kinda helped a bit I think even tho I'm well aware that it doesn't ever prevent a bl**dy good time being had ! I didn't watch any of the TV coverage at all tho as I thought that almost certainly wouldn't help but did enjoy looking at all the piccies/comments posted on the official site as well as reading the shiny new paper and having my own action replay of Glasto 2010 on Saturday night

... wanders off to finally remove 2010 wristband and add it to Ye Olde Wristbande Collection as it's defo way more than a bit sad still having it on now !
