I know this was touched on a few weeks ago, but it is really quiet on here this year? Is it really the recession?

I think its the board in general, wibble is f**king barren. Download this year is a bit muted I reckon, and many of those that are going have been before, so the usual "should I take ......" threads dont appear. we all know where we are going, we all know roughly what its going to be like, and theres not a great deal else to discuss.

I'm ready to believe that 40,000ish figure that was bandied about previously.

I dunno, I have had lots of "do i need" and "what do i take" texts and pms of late. But then I have 4 download virgins with me this year!!! lol!

They have definatly sold less this year, everyone is saying their group of friends going is smaller

Just me and my bro travelled down last year... this time theres 15 of us going... so thats cant be too bad. I dont get the quietness, its less than 2 weeks away, im buzzing my tits off the line up and everything else Donington associated!

I think the line up is much better than last year, but the number of people going has greatly decreased. Quality not quantity though

Actually, a lot of my friends say they're going to Sonisphere despite none of them having bought a ticket...
