Tips on using your festival trolley

Apart from the obvious like using plenty of bungee cords and don't overload, here are a couple of good tips.

Probably the worse things that can happen when your trolley is fully loaded on your way in or out of Glastonbury are getting punctures or your trolley falling apart cause your nuts have rattled off. Both have happened to me with my trolley and I have witnessed it happen to countless others at every festival I have ever been to.

If you can, take a few spares and don't forget your spanner. However if you do lose some nuts you will find plenty of others strewn all over the metal tracks that have fallen from other peoples trolleys.

Pump up the tyres good, about 30psi should saffice.

Take some "holts tyre weld". Halfords do it and you will also find it in most petrol stations. Not only will it help repair the puncture but the compressed air inside the can will also fully blow your tyres back up, you won't need a pump.

Put this stuff in your tyres and when you get a puncture it seals the hole instantly so it's not a problem.

When you've set up camp put your trolley in the lock ups so it does not go missing.

Bought a better trolley this year, as I had a nightmare with mine at V last year. Will remember to tighten nuts and blow up tyres.

have yourself a kid, wait about 7 years, and leave the trolley to him. Sorted.
