I can see this being a weekend of big clashes on the bill at the same time for me now!

Just out of interest has anyone seen 999,The Lurkers, Anti-Nowhere League, or UK Subs recently - I'm a bit too old to pogo throughout their sets these days are audiences more mellow these days?

Saw UK Subs at Bearded Theory yesterday - great set - but I'd say, yes, not only the audience but also the band are a tad more mellow than 30 years ago!! ;)

I saw Uk Subs in romford on friday hardly call it mellow band or crowd got a few bruises in that mosh!! 1st saw them 26 years ago and not much has changed i'd say (well a good few line ups have been and gone)

Anti Nowhere league i saw twice this years and as good as ever. Animal looks the same as he ever did it's crazy,

clash wise i'm worried though really don't want UK Subs to clash with P.I.L i'm hoping the punk tent ends before they start. Although a lot of punk bands playing different stages on the sunday it seems.

UK Subs are on at 8pm on the sunday according to the guitarist on facebook, no idea how long P.I.L are getting but this means i do get to see some uk subs at least.

everyone make sure they see The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (4.10pm) on the friday they're ace!

If we are looking at 'Bigger' bands from back in the day then surely the only contenders are The Sex Pistols (unlikely as Lydon is touring with P.I.L and Matlock is promoting his new band as well as playing with the reformed Faces), The Stranglers (again unlikely as without Hugh Cornwell they don't really have the pulling factor), The Damned (only if Vaniaan/Sensible/James/Scabies can get on without arguing because all of the other line ups were token poor), Siouxsie & the Banshees (possible if Severin and Budgie rejoin), Killing Joke (possible), The Specials (very possible), The Beat (again possible), Slaughter & the Dogs (Barrett/Rossi said unlikely to play again after reunion gig). And for obvious reasons The Clash, The Ramones, The Ruts, The Slits and X-Ray Spex can't. Maybe Big Audio Dynamite if Letts wants to because Jones has already said on TV that he would like to reform and gig. Thoughts ???
