Michaels Mead - any good?

First time going to Glastonbury this year, planning to camp with another group of friends that have been quite a few times already and they are planning on camping in Michaels Mead.

Anyone camped here before? What the pros/cons.

Also I will prob be arriving around 11am-midday on the Wednesday - will are be able to get a spot in there ok?

Camped there 2 years ago, not too bad, can hear the Pyramid from your tent. As it happened the Pyramid lineup was perfect for us that year and I hardly went anywhere else.

Its on a hill so try and get pretty high up incase it rains (not that it will of course).

Bit of a hike to the Park which is my favourite area.
