Motorhome Questions

Hi, we are hiring a motorhome for our trip to Glasto this year.

Unfortunately the motorhome doesnt come with a water carrier or waste water carrier, so I will have to buy/beg/steal/borrow these myself.

I have looked on line and seen various water carriers such as 40l roller carriers for about £40. If I get something like this, how do I get the water from the carrier to the water tank on the motorhome?

Secondly, looking at waste water carriers, do you just slide these under the motorhome and pull the water release handle on the motorhome? How big is the hole on the waste water carrier in general?

Apologies if these are stupid questions, but we really dont have a clue!

thanks

Most motorhomes have some form of on board water tank as well, if it has fill it up before you leave and it should last a few days. Also at glastonbury I use a couple of empty 5 litre water bottles, much easier than trying to lift up a large water carrier. To empty the waste a cheap method is to use a folding bucket from pound shop!

We try to use smaller 5L containers at Glastonbury for washing/washing up and bottled for drinking ever for coffee.

Saves a lot of power being drained from the battery by not using the electic pump.

You can buy a water syphon from Towsure, handy for filling smaller containers from the aquaroll. :)
