The reason I think it is because the dance tent is never taken seriously be the organisers, we tend to never get big name acts and beardyman would have the biggest crowd of the day in there by far due to his diversity. you couldnt get in the tent at leeds for him.

You have to take it like for like, the Lock Up never gets any big name punk bands in there apart from headliners and the bands they do get are on par with acts on Dance Stage like Bad Religion/Less Than Jake/New Found Glory with Deadmau5/UNKLE/Aphex Twin. The problem is Creamfields & Vfest take away too many possible acts to appear on the stage.

If beardyman played v could he not play r/l? I thought it was just the higher end artists that couldn't play both and last time he was at v it was in the Bacardi dance tent

@JID

If you check the frequently asked question thread and all is explained there. They are so close together they don't play each other, people have a few reasons as to why but no one is 100%. There are a few exceptions but generally only one fest can advertise the act which would make it very unlikely it would be a stage headliner.

Deadmau5, Magnetic Man, Chase & Status, Sub Focus, Rusko, Vitalic...

their all bigger names than Beardyman, and deadmau5 was the only one that headlined out of them. There's no way he'll headline, jumping up from mid day alternative to headline dance.

As much as I'd love it..
