Gigs Abroad

i was thinking of doing (going to watch not playing) some gigs abroad in the near future..like bands in there home countries and so on

seetickets and that only seem to want to search the uk..

does anyone know how i search other countries fir gigs

I'd decide where I'm going first, then try and find out. Where do you have in mind?

just go on the bands website and you'll find ticket links. that's what i did for pearl jam. the germans do amazing tickets!

Eventim.nl have been great when I've booked in the netherlands.

I'd agree with Ampersand here, go to the bands website and you'll find links to companies who sell tickets for whatever gig, wherever it is.

I would probably start on lastfm. Their diary feature is helpful for finding events on a particular date, and there are often ticket links

yeah €25 on the official site thats where i was looking

£241 for flights plus hotel 17-19th

£122 just for flights..and get a hotel when im there?

I prefer booking hotels beforehand. That's just a personal preference for going abroad, i can never find cheaper deals on the day.

Last minute companies are a decent shout for good prices if you fancy chancing your arm. Price is dictated by how nice you want your hotel to be either way.

yeah pretty much searching last minute.com and getting some nice ones

£160 all in if i go alone or £140 if i get someone to come with

hotel 20mins from airport + hotel 20mins from venue

Either way go and do it mate. It's really nice to see gigs in other countries and see how the locals go about enjoying themselves.

It's even better to exit a gig all sweaty and be hit with wamth instead of a bitter chill.

Going to see a band in Dublin over the weekend - my housemate booked the tickets but used tickematser or see .ie (cant rember)worth just trying that...
