Hi there

I have posted this question a good few years back but as not an archive to search any more.

I will be working this years fest again and will be travelling from Leeds and need to get to the East Car Parks- I did this before back in 2005 but can't remember the exact way I went

I've chucked the route into a route planner and the route it says doesn't seem to ring a bell (M1>M42>M5>M4>M32>A37)

Anyone think of a different route- I seem to remember the last time I did it, we went a lot further down the M1

Cheers in advance

If your working it and are going to be arriving before the paying punters then the M1,A42/M42,M5,M4,M32,through Bristol and then down the A37 is the best and most direct route from Leeds. This is also the route that I use when I'm travelling down on the Monday to clock on with Oxfam.

Why miss so much fun by only coming down to work? Personally I'd come down Tuesday and get in as much fun and mischief as I could before having to work.

Oh and on the route then I'd agree with what's been said before if you are set on coming down Thurs then going via Oxford and country lanes is probably your best bet.

The M1, M42, M5, M4, M32 and A37 did us proud on our trip down from Batley last year but then we came down on the Tuesday and were in an old VW so country lanes would have taken us forever.
