I had an email from them a while ago asking for input into the 2011 fest so should still be going ahead. It was announced Feb last year so probably the same time this year too.

Set Your Goals apparantly 'self-confirmed' when they were playing their shows with YMA6 at the end of 2010. Like it says above there was a few emails floating about from Slam Dunk about the 2011 festival so it looks like it will be happening.

Heard a rumour that the Leeds venue was getting changed as they couldn't secure the usual place. If they use the same venue in Hatfield they better get the crowd control sorted this time, last year was a bit of a mare

Hopefully they have 'Slam Dunk Scotland' again, allowed us to see all the bands we missed in Hatfield cause of the crowd bother

surely they will have the main stage outside this time !! it did not affect me as i was in the main stage most of the day but thats really was a piss take thats people could not get in.

Really hope so, it didn't rain too heavy during the day last year and was only a little bit damp underfoot even after all the rain the night before so it could definitely hold up outside for a big crowd.

Out of interest did anyone on here go out in Hatfield before/after the festival? We ended up at the after party thing in the venue which was a bit of a washout. The only places we found in Hatfield all had house music blaring out and St George's flags hanging all over the place...we didn't think our strong Scots accents would go down too well so drank in the hotel the night before

well aslong as there is still a south and it needed a diffrent venue anyway. aslong as it is not in the centre, would cost loads for a hotel

I though the Leeds show was going to be in Millennium Square this year? The organisation in the uni was horrendous.

Also, I truly hope they don't have Less Than Jake and Reel Big Fish headlining separate stages at the same time. Alkaline Trio and New Found Glory on at the same time last year was horrendous. If they have LTJ and RBF on at the same time they want shooting.

Ah, fair enough, not sure where I read that.

What happened in Herts again? The organisation in Leeds Uni was awful with huge queues to get into the place at first then queuing to get to the smaller stages. It just seemed like they had sold too many tickets. Also, no drinks allowed in one of the rooms...?!
