Post festival clean up?

Has anyone stopped after the festival to help clean up? Have seen the signs saying at the festival they require people to help clean up.

1 Roughly how many days work are there?

2 Are there any facilities showers etc?

3 Does it feel a bit of a bummer after having a great time at the festival?

Thanks

Putting my brain back to what I read on the posters that were stuck up all over the site, it seemed to indicate about 6 days?

Obviously you would be allowed to shower and wherever you get sent to camp would have facilities. Food, couldnt say but wouldnt be surprised if it was a canteen style situation post fest.

Cant say a thing about it feeling a bummer but over the years of people describing their experiences of litter picking, at the end of the day its what you make of it and there will be oodles of camaraderie. YOu'll be knackered and pissed off at times I should expect but you would get a very different outlook on the event.

I seem to remember that it can be anything up to a month in a very wet year, much less when it's been a dry one. You acn do as little or as much as you fancy. They progressively lay people off as they get nearer to finishing, so individual mileage may vary.

There's showers up at the farm, along with laundry facilities. Food is served at Goose Hall on Muddy Lane, with camping opposite in Kidney Mead.

People says it's hard graft, and not for everyone, but some do it year after year.
