I thought Blink were crap compared to their 2003 performance. Differant strokes and all that.

It's a toss up between Weezer, NoFx, GnR, The Skints, Streetlight Manifesto, Trash Talk and Bad Religion. I wen't for Weezer though as they were just... awesome.

I don't think Soundgarden will do Reading, they're more of a Sonisphere or Download band now. I'd like to see it but it's unlikely.

I remember Paramore in 2007, first band on the day with only the same size crowd as A Day To Remember, now sub headlining. Amazing!

Arcade Fire for me, Feel sorry for anyone who decided im not watchin em because ive never heard of them was a special set that will be talked about for years by anyone who saw it... Weezer were the most fun an the band ive been listenin to the most since i got back really enjoyed there set an hope to see them again in the Future at one of there own gigs... Suprisingly enjoyed every minute of Limp Bizcuit too... Lib's along with Biffy an Gogol Bordello were my stand outs for the weekend.... Seen a band on the introducing stage that were ace but cant remember there name.... Oh an Gallow's was mentle !!!

I think Frank will be headlining in 5 years time, he just needs a little commercial success and to keep at what hes doing, his shows are always memorable and his songs are beautiful, it's a matter of time my friends...

I think he is even less likely than gaslight anthem to headline the main stage. He may headline the lock up one day. When was the last time a solo artist headlined??

It's more the high praise of Paramore that bemuses me. Even if you love them, I just couldn't imagine finding that set very impressive. But opinions are opinion etc.

weezer by a country mile. the only band i really saw in the weekend that stood out from any other sets this year and will go down as one of my all time fav reading sets

Metallica was the last good headliner, par Arcade fire.

To be honest they are one of my faves, I'd say they should have played My Heart but other than that they were flawless IMHO.

Tom was just Tom. Drunk as almighty feck but singing along and everyone enjoying it.

Oh and no offence but girls do go to Reading. Sometimes they can be quite loud as the rest of the crowd.
