He was just fantastic at the Queens Head and Leftfield. Just him, his guitar and the crowd. Brilliant.

Long Live the Queen was a very emotional song. Particularly in the Leftfield when he dedicated it to the person who had lost his Mum that morning. I was fighting back the tears.

I'd never listened to him before the festy, but I was encouraged to catch his Leftfield set, which I did. Really enjoyed it, wholly intend to see him next time I get the chance.

Seems like a lovely bloke as well. As hatethis... said, it's nice that the success hasn't gone to his head.

I saw him at Shepherds Bush last year and the following morning posted the I DEMAND Frank Turner for Glastonbury thread. Seemed to get a lot of sarci comments at the time. I'm pleased I was right all along. ;)

For the record I know he's been going a lot longer. That's just when I discovered him. It was a VERY long wait for the Long Ire and Song re-release that included 'The first three years'.

Have never looked back!

If you don't know his stuff - SORT IT OUT!
