Hats off to this crew. I really didnt think they could top what they've done before and expected the area to be the same but extended over more ground. The whole thing was better and so impressive to walk around. My only criticism would be that the music could have been better. Especially when I hear ragga in a place that was born for techno! Perhaps bring down more big DJs from the tech/house/prog/trance/dnb for people to rave it up? And also - dont stop the music so early!

it all looked brilliant from the outside but everytime i tried to go in it was at capacirt and we were all told to turn away or sent down a one way route back to a different part of the festial, so i didnt get a chance to see anyof it at night :(

The one-way system was really annoying - not convinced it was completely necessary, didn't seem to stop Shangri La getting compeltely gridlocked at 2am on Sat night...

Thought Arcadia and Block 9 were spectacular. Shangri La a bit too weird for me - must be my lack of drug taking :)

The one way system was awful. Had to go out to use the toilets and got sent all the way round the outside of the whole arena twice without being let in - each gate just forwarding you to the next. That's really not on.

Having no toilets in Arcadia was so ridiculous...

4 of us got into Arcadia earlyish on Saturday night and my missus and I needed to go to the toilet so we gave our mate some money for drinks and asked a steward where they were.. he told us to just go left and they were right there and we could get back in by turning left again.

So after we went to the toilet we realised we had to go all the way out of the late night area via the Common to get back into Arcadia.. by the time we got back to the entrance they had blocked it off..

They said they would let us in soon but after 25 mins they came up with a megaphone and told us that we all should leave because they were going to use that gate as an exit only...

People were pushing a bit and my gf and I accidently got pushed through the gate.. my gf went through unnoticed but I was set upon by a security guard and kicked out of the area completely... by that time the queue to get back into the common was epic and we were too pissed off to battle the crowd...

WHY WERE THERE NO TOILETS IN ARCADIA?????????

    • We had one f**kwit one year come back at 4am and start playing music out loud and sitting under the tree talking. Thankfully his mate was in the tent trying to sleep too and came out and told him to f**k off. After one big argument he did indeed f**k off.   Otherwise I can actually sleep at GM without ear plugs compared to glasto. It's usually typically fine for sleeping at.

    • Yeah, she sold out BST twice and I think she'll return with even more interest.
    • To me MGK doesn't shift tickets, but could appeal to a younger demographic.    Don Broco/Architects/Jimmy Eat World/Turnstile - one or two of these would hit better.
    • I'm going, some friends and relatives will also be there on some days. I'm going on Sunday, then Tuesday to Saturday. I'm staying in the city From the headliners I'm most excited for Florence and twenty one pilots. Smaller acts I'm really looking forward to are: Tomora, Dijon, Wolf Alice and Sigrid
