Over - Muse, Paloma Faith, Get Cape, wear Cape in a tiny acoustic set in Climate Camp, Way Out West

Under - Gorillaz, New Arcadia stage, The common, Biffy (park couldn't cope) - oh and football nonsense!

However, not my best Glastonbury, but still had a fantastic weekend.

Over:"radiohead" and Gorillaz. I thought Damon etc were amazing despite what everyone's saying here.

Under: Muse. Good, but didn't come close to the "best live band ever" label that they've been given.

Over: Sander Kleinenberg, Snoop, LCD, Orbital (yes, even better than I hoped for), Arthur Brown in the Glade, the steel band that played in the Park

Under: MGMT were terrible, Hot Chip and Kate Nash just don't work on the Other Stage

People upset by Snoop Dogg swearing too much. Its snoop dogg and every album he's ever done has swearing in it. What did you expect?

Can I also give an Over shout to Corrine Bailey Rae on the Pyramid, a lovely set in the early afternoon sunshine, oh and Candi Statton who was amazing.

Over - Gorillaz - I'm massive fan so to see Plastic Beach brought to life was amazing.

Under - ok Stevie was out of this world - but no As? Seriously? I stood at the end thinking where's the encore? Come on, where is it? When do I get to singalong to As? Woke up the next day with As in my head and a wee question mark on my face.

Over - Faithless. I'm not a big dance fan but they blew me away. I had a great time dancing like a tosser by myself whilst hubby went off bimbling. PSB - 2 hours of great fun right up front with THE campest campers surrounding us. Michael Eavis in conversation in the acoustic tent - I cried my way through his hour or so on stage - shame all those sheltering from the heat in there couldn't have had the grace to stay awake and listen

Under - The Lightning Seeds. Pretty much the soundtrack to my 90's and having seen them a few times in the past I was a bit disappointed - his voice sounded shot to pieces. Also MGMT - thank feck I didn't venture away from my tent to watch - it was awful enough from there!

Over - Blood Red Shoes, Detroit Social Club, Mumford, Two Door....I could name more :)

Under - Holy f**k @ Queen's Head, blew me away last time I saw them but seemed a bit subdued this time and the new album tracks didn't transfer to a live performance too well

Hmmm after a few thought I came to this conclusion - the 'Overwhelms' outnumbered the 'Underwhelmed' by a large margin.

So here we go ...

Overwhelmed

Muse esp. when the Edge came on and did 'Where the streets have no name' - utterly briiliant and music highlight of the festival for me!

Also Flaming Lips - who were simply spectacular and joyous - what an enterance - I hope it turns up on youtube!

Jackson Browne - who put on a great performance on the Pyramid.

Faithless, who equalled their 2002 performance imo.;

The Orb at the Glade - one of my Festival rave highlights.

3 Daft Monkeys at The Avalon Cafe - played a blinder to an adoring audience...

The Stranglers on The Other Stage - great set and massive crowd.

Ray Davies - who graced the Pyramid with brilliant sunny weather music.

Rolf Harris - enormous crowd - happy uplifting tunes and banter - a true showman, who is unbelievably 80 years old !

Underwhelmed

Gorillaz - went with an open mind and gave them a chance - seemed distant and unengaging imo left after 15 minutes.

Jack Johnson - obviously talented but did nothing for me alas.

Stevie Wonder - stayed for half an hour but was not engaged by him so I went off to Arcadia/Shangri-la instead..

No complaints with the quality of the music on offer at all. :)

Over - Rolf. Expected a laugh, but really enjoyed his set. What a showman.

Under - The Hold Steady - Used to really like these guys, but the new stuff isn't as good and their stage antics now come off as a bit contrived.

Over

Toots was just marvellous, joyous inspiring - everything you want for a sunday evening, Reef were the only real rock band I saw all weekend and Jackson Browne who I have loved to bits for years, but thought would be a a bit depressing for a Pyramid slot in the afternoon. I just stood there crying buckets. very cathartic

Under:

Two door Cinema Club and The National. don't know what the fuss is about. Indie Landfill.

Over - Rolf Harris, just the feeling in the crowd for him summed up the festival for me.

Under - Florence And The Machine, just wasn't half as good as I expected, I thought her singing was awful.

Over:-

Muse ft the Edge - I've never heard a roar of a music crowd as loud as that.

Sophie Hunger - the singer has such an amazing voice from a band I had no intention of seeing.

Band of Skulls - really enjoyed them, a good under rated upcoming band.

Stranglers - enjoyed the singalong in a massive crowd.

Plan B - I went to see him for my daughter and wasn't expecting much but he was really good live and the guy who does the beatbox for him is amazing.

Under:-

Gorillaz - I expected a lot more from a band I really like but ended up leaving after 6 or 7 songs to see Fatboy Slim.

Stevie Wonder - I left after 4 songs as I just didn't feel the music.

Mumford and Sons - I caught the last 2 songs whilst waiting for the tent to empty for Black Keys, they sounded really boring, I cannot see what the attraction is?

I had such a fantstic time, I cannot wait for next year.
