I bought a ticket off someone who looks kinda like me, at a glance you would have thought it was me probably. Jsut wondering when it's busy do they look more or less thoroughly at your ticket?

When it's not do they look more thoroughly. So if you could put:

1. what time you got there

2. Was it very, reasonably, mildy, not at all busy getting in

3. How long did they look at your ticket for?

4. Was ID needed.

I am a glasto virgin, my mates all got tickets but due to a mix up the one who was meant to buy mine didn't get me one, but not wanting to miss out i though i'd chance my arm. I'm really scared though, just want my mind to be put to rest a bit!

However....... With Tuesday opening the busy times could change, however to be honest u don't think it will make much difference, it's still going to be mega busy from 8-4 Wednesday, but I doubt they'll check enough, just wear a hat and shades :-P

OP find out how many years they have been doing photo tickets for

I think it is 3 but could be wrong

If questioned at all, just remain calm and say, Hey man it's been 3 years since I had this taken, people change, don't lose your cool and you will be fine

If asked for ID you have sensibly left it all at home right? Thought so ;)

To be honest if you look quite like the dude then you'll be fine, I'm sure they will have more suspect photo's to look at

I would also suggest placing yourself in the middle of your group

Get in, have a massive adrenalin rush as having done so and have a cracker :)

someone who went last year has a wristband, he can take it on and off, said he can give it me if i want to pretend that i came last year and had all my stuff nicked hence no bankcard and no id. Reckon that'll work? Along with the old, yeh i twas taken a while ago. And obviously i'll go in the middle!

So you haven't replaced them in a year?

This is the biggest issue people have in these situations, as they know it is dodge they overthink it

How would you act if it was a genuine ticket and they said it didn't look like you?

If it was me I would be "Well the pic was taken quite a while ago, unfortunately I left all my stuff at home for safety but my mates will gladly confirm thats me" with a nice smile

Don't overplay it and you'll be fine

Like I say get into the mindset that is you on the ticket and act accordingly and you won't attract any attention and you will be sweet

Erm, NO! They change the colour of the wristbands every year. My experience is that they don't really check too hard. I've never been asked for ID even though I don't really look much like my photo - dead glam ;) - by the time I've trudged 5 miles from the car park lugging twice my own weight in gear....!!

There's a rumour that anyone wearing a hat and shades will be scrutinised even more due to the increasing amount of tickets being sold on Ebay. So be careful.

I suggest you get your mates to beat you up really badly so that even your own mother won't recognise you, and just say that you look like the photo under the bruises and cuts. Trust me it will be worth it.
