2011 Headliners

I'd like, AIR, Spiritualized, Ash, Peaches, Dusty Kid, DJ Yoda, Jaguar Skills, Suede, Aidan Moffat.

Obviously out of the big hitters I'd love any one of Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers or Justice.

For me its got to be Justice, Chemical Brothers and Daft Punk.

A abit of an odd choice for alot of folk but maybe even Scissor Sisters. Now I know alot of you will say WTF! but honestly how many of us have been absolutly hammered on a night out u hear a scissor sisters song. U cant help but dance and have a good time!

Oh right, you thought that i was saying that i like Coldplay for Rockness in my first post but what i was really saying was that if you took Coldplay out of that line-up then it would B the best line-up ever. Hope that this clears things up :)

UNKLE would be great for Rockness, and possibly a Lavelle set played in the final slot on sunday in the afterburner. Shadow would be amazing aswell.

Going to see DJ Shadow next week actually, can't wait will be my first time seeing him live.

Also get to see UNKLE at the Picnic in September so its all good. They better get Lavelle to play a set over the weekend aswell. Can't get enough of his GU records.

After seeing him at Glasto, I'd definately book Snoop Dog, he was absolutely amazing and has so many hits.

Also a few 90s bands like Primal Scream, Suede and The Charlatans would go down a treat.

Agree with Rexclark, snoop dogg would be a great booking after seeing him at Glasto.

Few others That wouldn't go a miss after seeing at Glasto:

Jack Beats, Fake Blood, Jakwob, Nero, Magnetic Man, Beardyman, Shakira &/or scissor sisters (they are actually very good live, good for an afternoon mainstage slot), Sasha (get John digweed for a B2B set and your on to a winner), Miike Snow, Holy F**k, Faithless, Ray Davies.

Probs others but i'm verging on just typing every act I seen lol

    • As someone that always likes looking at this stuff, compare the BBC opening titles...     ... and the ITV ones.     Tbf the BBC intro is better than the ones they used for the last World Cup, which I thought were pretty bad and on its own, the BBC choice actually isn't too bad. It's not as good as their pinball one for the last Euros, but the concept is reasonable. But let's be real, the ITV one is better.

    • Another new one from Overmono.   Album is shaping up nicely.
    • I'm only judging by highlights but considering that I saw a lot of anxieties from US fans about them getting it wrong after several bad results in the last year or so, they very much had it on opening night. Might be as much about Paraguay being a long way from the team that beat Brazil and Argentina in qualifying though.   Canada also doing something in a World Cup other than lose and arguably be good enough to have beaten Bosnia means reasonable start. Think they might regret not winning though.
