eBay Tickets....

I don't care, I've got no personal information associated with that eBay account, no PayPal etc....

Because they are not allowed to sell this item, its against the Glastonbury / eBay rules, it makes the auction invalid, and therefore, no binding contract to actually have to pay for it,

Maybe because I know 5 people who wanted to get tickets, didn't manage first time round, didn't manage second time round and didn't manage third time round (although 3 others did on the 3rd time round).

Its the principle mate, why should some f**ker make a bit of dosh out of something that has nothing to do with them, if they thought they couldn't make it or there was a slight risk they couldn't make it they shouldn't have bought the tickets, and left them for people who actually want to go!

OK, tell me this...if you were well looking forward to going and something out of the ordinary happened that meant you could no longer go...hurt yourself, illness in family, losing money somehow (all of these have happened to me or someone i know over the years), what would you do with your 'non-transferable/refundable' ticket?

Leave it on the bedside table and say "hey-ho, I'd rather lose the money than let someone else take it and have a great time"?

Fair enough, i am against mass touting but for those that cannot honestly go and are selling just one ticket, leave them be. If someone is stupid enough to pay massively inflated prices on a ticket that may still not gain them entry because of the photo, let them...its not affecting you is it?

Ok, maybe your mates didnt get tickets (which I struggle to know how they didnt over the 3 re-sales but thats neither here nor there), but thats not everyone elses fault.

Three others did? Correct me if I'm wrong but you could get 2 or more tickets at this stage? Thats at least 6 more tickets you have got on the third (THIRD) re-sale... Not sure a few tickets on e-bay did much to hamper your mates chances.. Your mates already got lucky.

And have you not thought of getting your mates without tickets one from ebay..?

    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
    • Keep in mind those crowds were full of teenagers. Glasto aint full of teenagers. Theres no way she could demand headline and get it because they got other acts to give the slot to who deserve it with a bigger catalog. Reading/Leeds would headline her cause its still LN.  If the fest was struggling its Other headline. But a 3rd down Pyramid is likely the landing spot. Itll go down like the Camila Cabello performance pretty much.
