Aargh camping dilemma!

This year will be the first year since 2002 we will be without our kids, so not in our usual "home" of the family camping behind the kidz field.

Where we used to camp pre babies is now The Park, so I am at a bit of a loss where to go.

At my advanced age I need somewhere fairly quiet and would prefer easy access to the Green fields (i.e. not in the North West of the site).

Have checked Tort's google earth site and I think our best bet will be Dairy Ground, but wanted to check if anyone else had camped there previously or had any other good suggestions? Hubby will be arriving as gates open on Wednesday so setting up camp so anywhere is a possibility. I can't get there till Thurs due to the babysitters so am going to roll up to find everything set up :)

A lot of people on here (including me) are saying good things about the Dairy Ground. I hope this doesn't represent the general population, or it'll be oversubscribed.

With The Park there, I guess it's more lively than it used to be, but I still think it should be nice.

Dairy Ground is fab and twice the size this year, with no extra tickets sold.

Will be bags of room.

West carparks are your friends.

We ended up in the Dairy Ground 4 years ago purely by chance (I think it was 4 anyway!) We loved it so much we've headed back to the same spot every year since and will be there again this year. It's quiet enough to get a bit of rest but lively enough to keep us happy and close to the parts of the festival we most love....perfect for us! :)
