Routes into West Car Parks

So, last year this was obviously a nightmare because of the accidents/volume of traffic.

One of the main problems was that at the actual entrance to the site there were traffic lights alternately letting in traffic from 2 different directions.

It seemed obvious that they needed 2 gates not 1, but I'm no expert on traffic management so I'm guessing if that was a good idea they will have opened up more gates to the car parks this year.

I don't have a specific question, but has anybody heard about any changes this year? Do you guys have any tips for getting in quicker and do you all think it's going to be an absolute bloody nightmare before the football on the Wednesday?

I need a fool-proof plan for making sure I get in there before the football and I really don't want to have to sleep in my car so any advice or ideas would really help.

Nobody have any idea?

GlastoEarth seems to show more coloured routes in I think this year, can anyone confirm that the routes/entrances have changed?

Nobody knows what it will be like till the day but a lot of (not all) last years problems were caused by road works and crashes forcing everyone onto the same route.

There however tha backroads if your brave enough to try them. It saved us hours last year as we went on the back roads by the Pipers Inn
