lost ticket

I'd say it's possible, but the odds are very heavily stacked against you - When i had my epic ticket woes they said that they totally believed me but still couldn't let me in - and this involved various phone conversations with authoritative sounding people up at worthy farm (although sadly not St. Eavis).. I even had a photo of the tickets that my mate sent me before forwarding them on for f*cks sake! along with reference numbers, proof of booking, proof of postage etc and still without a ticket there was no way they were letting me past those gates. And by the time I'd wandered round to the next gate they'd radioed around to say be on the lookout for someone without a ticket! infuriating!

Yet i've heard some lucky buggers have managed it.

Let's hope it turns up eh?

I can't see that they will issue another I'm afraid. How are they to know you don't have an identical twin brother and are using this as a 2 for 1 deal on tickets? Like someone else said, they can't give out more tickets than their license allows. Get searching in that bin!!

Good luck finding it.

I'd call the ticket issuer and ask for a copy of the document saying it was signed for, explain that it shouldn't have been handed over to anyone who was not the person that paid for the ticket and to no one other that the intended recipient and then claim that no one at the address received it. Tell them you have work hands on the farm and any number of people could have signed for it and tell them you have proof you was out of the country at the time of the "So called" delivery.

Similar stories have worked for me and mates in the past at gig's but not at Glast but still worth a go.

Hooray!!!!!!!!!!

after all that, my parents have been on the phone to dx this morning and they haven't sent it yet, so god knows what my dad signed for but turns out it wasn't my ticket!!! so to cut a long story short, my dad tells me he has signed for it and lost it, and now turns out its coming tomorrow!!!

as you can imagine a pretty distressing 12 hours, but phone call this morning felt like finding out you have your first ticket again when they sell out in 2 hours and the computer continually jams!

anyway, thanks for all help and suggestions, sorry to have wasted everyone's time, will punch my dad for you all when i see him when i get back!

3 weeks tomorrow, see you there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thought you may appreciate this.

last night in the distressed state i was in unable to sleep i was running ideas through my head about how to sneak in, fence hop, god knows what. so at 12.30 i have this brilliant idea about being pushed in on a trolley concealed in a bag with a hole in with my feet poking though into beers boxes at the bottom on the base of the trolley.

In order to work out if this could work i get out of bed, I turn the lights on, pull my big squash bag that I am travelling with and try to work out if i can fit in the thing.

so I am lying on the floor naked at 12.30 am trying work out if i can fit in a squash bag as if this is a feasible option for getting in to glastonbury. needless to say it was a no go and was no where near fitting in but guess it would have been a pretty funny thing to behold......

what a dickhead!
