We deserved to be near or at the bottom. Show me one post that says otherwise.

All we are saying is that other countries that deserved to do shit did well. And that a country that deserved to do okay walked away with it.

They aren't fact, it's Brit mentality and rhetoric.

Wait until England get knocked out of the World Cup, and see the reasons that get used for it.

Watch when Murray looses a tennis tournament, and see the reasons that get used for it.

I can't believe I'm getting involved in a Eurovison thread, but anyway...

Its not just a British thing Pogo (not that it even seemed to happening in here anyway). A lot of countries do it. Look at the Ireland-France game. Yes it was a truly awful decision and its totally understandable why people were so angry about it, but as some sane people pointed out, theres more to a game of football than that and if Ireland had taken chances earlier in the game then it wouldn't have mattered. Still felt better to blame Henry and the ref though. Another example is the last RWC. A lot of people here blamed the ref for the All Blacks getting knocked out. Again, some dodgy decision making but also the fact that they had a not very good tournament and really underperformed.

    • Kind of crackers how fast this summer seems to be sailing by. But aye, must be some news soon!
    • I am very possibly wrong about this but I do think that the pitch you get allocated appears to be related to your time of arrival, (i.e. you get the next one available) rather than the price you paid for a small, medium or large pitch.  They all appear to be the same size to me.

    • Liddle: "Drop a small nuclear bomb on Glastonbury to immediately remove from our country almost everybody who is hugely annoying.”   Farage: Free speech!    Polanski: accepts a collaboration on 20 innocuous looking set of photos on instagram but doesn't notice that one that says 'making plans for Nigel' with a guillotine image.   Farage: I expect the MET police to arrest him.
    • I take my lad to the local non-league club - Royston Town - not he's 13, he goes there with his mates and he plays in their youth team.  Not many people there - lucky if they hit 800, but lovely supporting the town team.  I've took him to some league clubs too - Cambridge and Stevenage are great to visit and not crazy prices - his first one was Cambridge v Sunderland (I'm a mackem) when they were in league 1, so a great experience for him.  The England matches aren't too bad value either at Wembley - it's just the parking that stings you. Problem is, he's a City fan, so at some point have to bite the bullet and get him up to the Ethiad. Have done the tour, but he'd love a proper game....my wallet, less so!
