lol, nicely illegal then (the smoking room).

Yes fine to smoke, but you cant smoke in ANY of the music/bar/performance/shop tents - even the ones like the John Peel stage which are totally open on all 4 sides and just a roof...

Yes - there are signs inside all tents (and plenty of the signs if i remember correctly) so it should be easy to see.

Plus a security guard will come over and let you know if you do accidentally light a cigarette - you won't get kicked out if you do - BUT last year most other festival goers were pretty quick to point out to others that they shouldn't be smoking, and it's always a pain when someone is dancing in a crowd with a lit fag!

But yeah, clearly sign posted - don't think there is anywhere 'covered' that you can smoke, so if you are a smoker, bring a brolly....

I take it there are signs letting you know you cannot smoke in an area

just smoke anyway, the worst that will happen is that you will be told to go outside, then continue smoking until you get outside and by then your cigarette should be pretty well finished anyway and repeat as often as necessary (although try not to be seen by the same anti smoking nazi steward too often as they can get a bit arsey about it) :P

People saying these things about not being about to smoke inside, I've never noticed it, I think I smoked in almost every major tent last year, and a lot of the smaller ones, no one cared (if they had I would have put it out).

Was in the bimble inn a couple of years ago and as is the same in most of the small tents its ok to smoke joints, but not ok to smoke cigarettes.

I only smoked in the dance tent last year, and had no bother with it. Was being very discreet though, and did read of others during exactly the same acts at the time getting told off for it.

Oddly enough I never used to smoke in the cabaret tent even when you could, seemed rude in such a cosy environment in a way.

    • I wonder if he's going to get into the States for the second match against England. Seems a bit weird having players missing for certain matches but not others as the world cup moves around.
    • Quite lucky as I’ve no interest in Halsey at all so I’ve got time for some food and drink before getting in there.   But yeah… thinking I’ll have to leave early to get a decent spot for Gorillaz
