Fatboy Slim Set

Just back from Belfast last night, after catching FBS at Giant's Park on Saturday. All I will say is that he is gonna blow you all away this year at RN. New set, with a small smattering of old FBS tunes, some big beat beauties & ofcourse banging up to date filthy beats. Visuals & laser show was brilliant, which just added to one of the best gigs I've seen him do in a long time.

So for all you doubters out there. I would suggest that you see him on the Friday night. Could be one of those gigs that if you don't see it, you'll be kicking yourself afterwards when you hear about it.

Having seen the man many times over the years, he still has to deliver the goods to impress me. This is exactly what he did on Saturday. Oh, and I won't be at RN this year, It will be my first time missing it. Which is crap ofcourse, but hope you all have a blinding weekend folks.

I'll be honest.. I was disappointed with Fatboy in 2008. There were strong crosswinds which really did not help the sound at the main stage. I felt that his visuals/lighting were nothing spectacular..

By the sounds of things though, maybe this has changed/improved. Hopefully the wind won't be too bad on Friday night and that he will open this years festival nicely!

After seeing him in '08 I had no intention of seeing him again, although this thread makes it seem it would be worthwhile. But I just feel Pendulum in a tent with their new tunes cannot be beaten by FBS.

Fatboy's new set looks decent enough. Love the intro. I am not and will never be a fan of Pendulum, so depending who is on elsewhere, I will probably be going to see Fatboy.

Looks well decent. Sound for the upload Vambo, from the looks of that I'll be going to Fatboy Slim after Booka Shade.
