Winners: Spain

The thing that makes that look unlikely is the fact that Euro teams don't win outside of Europe.

So I'd go with just about any non-Euro team before I'd plump for Spain.

Ivory Coast winning would be appropriate, and very very funny for England fans with a sense of humour. :P

Don't see Serbia and Paraguay doing much... David Villa ? nah...

Besides that I would agree...

you cant call argentina dark horses. they have 2 of the best strikers in the world and very decent midfield

i know they have an enormous drag factor that is their manager, but their hardly 'un-fancied'

No one is tipping them as likely winners tho.

Mind you, outside of little england, england aren't much fancied either. :P

fair points

but the conditions down there at the moment are hardly unusual for the europeans this time. its a few degrees cooler than here, not much humidity. as long as the european teams acclimatise right i cant see the venues being as bigger issue as normal

A Clive the Clown-esque fact:

This World Cup will be the first World Cup England have played in which will be held in an English speaking country since............1966.

Fate. :lol::lol:

yup, anyone with the best player in the world, and the scorer of the winning goals in serie a and the champions league final, have to be in with a decent chance.

like england, i don't expect them to win, but my jaw wouldn;t be on the floor if they did.

three lions 98

"We still believe, we still believe

We still believe, we still believe

It's coming home, it's coming home

It's coming, Football's coming home

It's coming home, it's coming home

It's coming, Football's coming home

Tears for heroes dressed in grey

No plans for final day

Stay in bed, drift away

It could have been all

Songs in the street

It was nearly complete

It was nearly so sweet

And now I'm singing

Three lions on a shirt

Jules Rimmet still gleaming

No more years of hurt

No more need for dreaming

Talk about football coming home

And then one night in Rome

We were strong, we had grown

And now I see Ince ready for war

Gazza good as before

Shearer certain to score

And Psycho screaming

Three lions on a shirt

Jules Rimmet still gleaming

No more years of hurt

No more need for dreaming

We can dance Nobby's dance

We could dance it in France

It's coming home, it's coming home

It's coming, Football's coming home"

    • I got super early bird too....i was that chuffed i ticked a couple of the charity contribution boxes
    • I would be very surprised as well if they are are European Festivals and Werchter isn't one of them. They have done Roskilde before but with big gaps   They have done NOS once and they have done Mad Cool once while playing 3 times at Werchter during the period Mad Cool has ran.
    • Whole thing seems a bit sus to me.
    • wtf. Those Moroccons in Cueta can't just go into EU anyway, they would need to go through further checks before Schengen.
