FWIW, I've been at Baggy Monday's the last 2 years and it was brilliant. I will also be at Two Door Cinema Club and Holy f**k though as even as a mid-30 year old I appreciate that there is plenty of good music around nowadays

Fifth ave is always a good night but they are definitely asking for student cards on most nights, I've stopped bothering trying to get in as its very rare i dont get asked for student ID.

I think it depends on how busy it is at 5th Ave whether they insist on NUS cards, I'm 36 but have given up on going in their now as it was more miss than hit getting in, South can be a good night but it takes a few hours to get going.

Me and my 9 year old daughter are both attending our 1st Glastonbury this year, will I be able to take her to Baggy Mondays? or do the late night venues not let kids in? She has been to other festivals gigs etc.

So it's now classed as a "classic" night, like punk / mod nights were to me?

Ha ha! He's a decent bloke, Clint. but yes, he's a bit stuck in the past. Not been for ages but Fridays always used to be better than his night on sat. Might have changed now though. I stopped going because - like other clubs for whom reputation is more important than their customers - they make people wait ages outside even when it's open and it's not full because if there's a big queue, people passing will think it's a really cool place to be. The aftershow do it too; my old band played there a few times and if you're on stage first, you have to wait ages while they let people in really slowly. Annoying.

For info - the Real Ale meet is finishing at Baggy Mondays apparently so there'll be plenty of efesters along for anyone wanting a meet
