Front Row Camping EFest camp

Hey guys,

Apologies if there is already a thread like this.

Was speaking to Kowalski yesterday who was asking if I had a front row camping ticket. I believe that the EFest camp will be there this year. I don't have a front row camping ticket, nor do any of my chums.

One of Kowalski's mates doesn't have one either, so a few of us will be camping together outwith the front row camping area and you're all welcome to join!

EFest Camp number 2? :P

the efest camp will be in front row, could be fun having two efest camps cause we could have a meet in general camping.

i'm not really liking this front row thing, seems to be causing a lot of hassle for people who are going in a group who didn't all buy their tickets at the same time. don't see the point in it. it should just be first come first served no matter when you got your ticket.

Was there not something as well that front row campers if they wish can camp in normal camping?

what happens if lots of people who are going groups half bought front row the other half bought normal and the front row campers decide to just stick with the normal campsite instead & in turn the other 2 normal campsites fill up.

Not likely I don't think but would you be forced to camp front row if you have a front row ticket? if not would they allow non front row to camp front row?

Would be good to get a non front row campsite on the go as looks like i'l be coming myself so be good to have a wee group to camp with.

Anyone planning on joining the eFest camp in the Front Row campsite then if you are not a member of the MFG then why not? :P

I shall be taking the flag, should be there for around gates opening so will get the flag up as soon as possible so if you aim for that.

Also if anyone wants to PM me for my mobile number, feel free so if you get lost you can text/call on the Friday.

We will aim to be in the middle area of Purple, but if we get a better site plan before the event I will mark a spot on that :P

    • Yeah I did spot that AXS had more available for the O2 shows Muse are doing, though I think that comes with the territory of AXS now being the venue's primary ticket selling platform.    My instinct remains they'll probably still play to a big crowd on the night - sales were similarly slow in 2023 but videos of those gigs showed the venue looking pretty much full. Equally it probably would be sold out if the pricing was even just slightly less ridiculous. Shave up to £50 off some of these categories and I think that would've got people to go with it.
    • Some are definitely already there with that and with another round of inflation looking like it's on the way, it certainly locks that in. And I say that as someone who also isn't willing to break the £100 marker.
    • A lot of people have said this online but does the Marvel world need new cities to play with? New York seems to be a target of all the villains to the point where you wonder why anyone in that world still lives there. Much as you can accuse me of overthinking it I guess haha.    I do agree that The Void is a compellingly different villain in many respects given the superpower is trapping people in their most traumatic memories. Shame in some respects the film came out in the post-Endgame funk Marvel seems stuck in and a lot of people missed out on it.    Speaking of, I rewatched Infinity War the other day. First time I think I've seen it since seeing it in the cinema on its opening day. Holds up pretty well imo - I have issues sometimes with ensemble casts and jumping between 4/5 storylines but it felt this one got the balance right and also properly explored Thanos. So it was good.
    • I didn't think I'd ever watched a Coben adaptation or read one of the original books, though turns out I did - I watched one called The Stranger back in 2020. Clearly didn't stick long in my memory as until researching it, I didn't know that was one of his. Queens Gambit or Black Mirror, it was not.    But clearly it's popular tripe in some respect if Netflix is going yes to everything he has to offer and are apparently about to start trying his most popular individual character, as seen below:   https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2026/jul/30/how-harlan-coben-became-the-king-of-potboiler-tv   Plus hey. Sometimes people get a kick from watching something and deriding it as crap. Don't let this internet rando stop you haha
